🥔 Crispy Potato Chips in the Microwave 🥔
Ingredients
- 1+ potatoes, scrubbed
- Salt, to taste (optional)
- Olive oil, for greasing (optional)
- Other seasonings (paprika, garlic powder, etc.), optional
Instructions
- Cut potato in half. Thinly slice one half (1/8–1/16″) using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- Immediately place slices in cold water. Rinse a few times until water runs clear.
- Pat slices dry thoroughly with a towel.
- Lightly oil a dinner plate. Lay slices in a single layer (no overlap). Sprinkle with salt or seasonings. Cover with parchment or paper towel.
- Cook on high for 3–5 minutes until crisp. Time varies by microwave and slice thickness.
- Continue with remaining slices in batches.
